A stable, easy-to-ride cargobike with built-in theft deterrent
This cargobike concept utilizes a new steering system where the handlebar and box each rotate around their own axis, which makes the riding experience similar to a regular bicycle, while still retaining a large box.
Securing the bike doesn't rely on an external lock fastened to a solid object on the street, but an internal locking system. The idea behind the system is: 1) The locked bike is deformed sending a strong signal of uselessness to the thief. 2) The lock is inaccessible to a thief with a bolt cutter, since it's hidden inside the frame. The only way to unlock the bike without a key is to cut the frame in half, rendering the bike useless.
